P Vs J Fender american

I have a jazz and love the neck! So fast and easy to navigate. I loooove P basses, but can't get comfortable on the neck. I'd love to have both (maybe someday I will), but the jazz it is.

The answer is - yes.

precision is a dog, a jazz is a cat

a PJ is a different animal, and it's a matter of what you choose from each bass... so it can be a real tiger, or a chiwawa

in the end, play what you're comfortable playing - a good player can get any sound out of either bass (just not THE sound of the other bass, hehe, but you can get close enough)

Fender has a MIJ Aerodyne Bass. I have one, with a Badass 2 and Bassline pickups from Seymour Duncan, love the instrument to death.
