Is it okay to put the signal from a PA mixer straight into the input of your head to run through your speakers?

For rehearsals we've been doing this for monitoring with a band I play with until we can afford to buy actual PA speakers. As in: electric bass, synths and 2 SPD's through the bass amp via a mixing desk. There doesn't seem to be any issues - and I figure that so long as there's not huge sub sounds and I don't drive it too hard there won't be issues.

If it helps - head is a Little Mark III 600W @ 8 ohm (from memory?)
speakers are 2 x TC Electronic RS210's 400W @ 8ohm each
