I once recieved a very small package with a grand total of six packing peanuts in it. For some reason I found it rather amusing.

I have become a lover of "packing cheesepuffs" I don't know what they are made out of, but compared to the styrofoam peanuts that disintegrate and stick to everything, these don't have any static quality to them at all and instead of breaking apart they just compress.
+1 For wrapping the item in bubble wrap or putting it in a bag.
I am thinking of putting one packing peanut in a random order today. Hehe

I brought a tuner and my little plug in amp so I could try it but I don't have any garbage bags here at work bag up the peanuts. This has happened before and I took the box out to the dumpster behind the building and unboxed it there but this time I need the box and the peanuts.I always scoop them into a bag as I unpack. It's a pain, but it's worth it. No peanuts on the floor!
Friggin brilliant.Gorn... Close up that end... Turn it upside down... Pull it out big side first... Then they shouldnt come out.
They are - I've been dusting them with parmesan powder and giving them out at Halloween for years. Never tried them myself, though - yech!I've heard that they are edible. Prolly have more nutritional value than most ramen noodles. YUM
