Not sure why, but since the database update was completed yesterday or the day before it seems like the web browser bar at the top of my screen never completes when I log into TB or select any forum. It also looks like the download dial (little countdown clock that spins while a page is updating for lack of a better term) continuously runs.

The page loads ok and all buttons and features seem to work fine, its just that the browser bar info looks like its still updating all the time. Also not positive but it looks like it might be having a negative impact on my battery life.

If it makes any difference I'm using an iPad and default to retro mode.

I'll check into this - is it same behavior if you change to "TB 2014" default style?

If it helps, here's a screen shot showing what's going on...

Note the blue update bar in the browser window. That's about as far as it goes before it freezes where its at (should start at the left and progress all the way to the right then go clear and display the full web link).

Also note the upper left corner of the screen shot - next to the iPad and wireless signal strength is a rotating clock feature that usually indicates information downloading or website update in progress - that just continues to spin nonstop as long as I'm on TB.

Hope this helps. Thanks for looking into it.
Have a wonderful holiday and a great new year!

This SOUNDS like maybe a network connectivity problem between you and some ad that's trying to load something, or between you and some javascript tracking (for example we use Google Analytics to track visitors). I bet it just goes away by itself soon. If not please let me know!

I hadn't thought of that but it makes sense that its a JavaScript tracker or some ad related conflict of some sort. I'll clear my cache and history, reboot and see what happens.

Yep! That did the trick. Must have been a cookie or something in my cache conflicting with your JavaScript tracker.
So, if anyone else has a similar problem the solution might be to have them clear their history and cookies cache.
Thanks.
Have a wonderful holiday and a great new year!
