Paging Brad Johnson....

Hi Brad

I recall reading one of you posts in which you had mentioned that Anthony Jackson had fallen victim to some sort of accident and could no longer play his 36" scale Fodera

Can you elaborate please?...I am one of his biggest fans and would hate to think for Anthony's sake that his playing has been affected

many thanks

As far as I know, Anthony has been playing his 36" scale Fodera on all of his recordings. According to David at the Groove Shoppe, Fodera built AJ an 34" signature model but it did not have the playability he's accustomed to and he's still playing his regular 36" scale.

AJ had Fodera build him a 34" scale Presentation a few years back (he mentioned he was heading in that direction in a BP interview just prior) but ultimately returned to the 36". It was a pretty cool bass with a very elegant carved Holly top.
