Pairing a 71 Ampeg B15N with a SVT-210AV

Hi. So I'm looking to make my original Ampeg B15N tube portaflex into a small venue, easy to transport setup. You know, weddings, party's & all those places old players go to cash in/die. LOL. All my equipment I have been using for years is huge. Cerwin-Vega B-36MF's powered with Acoustic 370's. Yep, all 70's gear. So I'm thinking about adding an Ampeg SVT-210AV to my original Ampeg B15N from 71. Looking for an additional punch to the 15. Any ideas if this would be a satisfactory small venue package? Thanks for any input anyone might have.

I don't have a B15, but I do have the svt210av cabs. The cabs have an unboxed weight of about 26 lbs.

They are my favorite light weight cabs - period. I get the Ampeg sound without breaking my back.

Another cab I absolutely love is the SVT212 it has the Ampeg sound for days.

Isn't adding to the B15N going to kill the compactness some?
If minimum space and weight are a priority maybe the 210
and a SS head?
Have you tried the B15 in this situation?
Maybe it is enough on it's own.

I haven't played a wedding or a party for so long I miss them. I use my SVT head with 1 or 2 B-15T cabs(90's SS 100 watt B-15's) and they sound great for small-medium sized rooms. Maybe try one of your Acoustics with the B-15 cab, just be careful, don't push it more than you have to but they'll take more clean power than you think.

Thanks for the reply's and the info. So to answer the questions, to Bill Whitehurst, yes, I have used the B15 alone at a small venue, but it just lacked the punch I was looking for. That is where the idea to adding a couple 10's to the party came from. Just kind of muddy with the single 15. Probably could add some effects to compensate, but really I thought that maybe adding the 210 would also give me a little more versatility for different sized rooms and they only weigh 25 lbs. And to bobyoung53, I have never used the Acoustics through the 15, but I have used the B15 head through a CV. Lord know's what I did with the 4-pin to 1/4 inch adapter I had. Haven't used that in decades. I did see Flip Flop has both adapters for $50 when I was going to order the original grill cloth for the B15 to get it back to original. No more "All the stage gear needs black cloth". LOL.
Again, thanks for your input. Still unsure which direction I'm going to go.

Define 'lacks punch'.
Volume or EQ?
A 10 band graphic EQ might add what you need
and maybe drive it a bit more, while keeping the load in
easier than an extra cab.
Not trying to be arguementative, just looking for
light weight answers.

If I were trying to do that scene I'd be using my '61 Bassman.
Some of the same sort of classic sound/limited power issues.
