Does anybody do this on a regular basis? Would you recommend any combinations that work really well?

could be nice when bi-amping to get tighter lows or more punchy mids?
I use a svt pro 4 bi-amped into an old peavey 215 that's loaded with a pair of jbl 2226's
and a homebuilt 210 with peavey scorpions in a sealed cab made to match the 215. This rig has very clean and loud top end with a super deep growl on the low. The trick is to set your crossover points to match the drivers proper ranges.
