Palmer Compressor

Rock'n'roll spirit :bassist:

OK I will post comments when I receive it in some weeks :smug:

FWIW, I found the review below on a music supplies site (Stringsdirect):

"Have had this a few days now - this is a great pedal; built like a tank, 5 years guarantee. Very clean sound for a compressor (not like the Boss one I used to have), true bypass. The compression/sustain is not in your face, but can "squish" your sound if you want. If these cost three times as much people would be raving about them even more as "boutique" pedals. Don't be fooled by the low price - on the basis of this am now tempted by the chorus too."

Well I got one and here's the story.

I own a DOD Milkbox which I like very much but ultimately found it too noisy for my purposes.

I got the Palmer based on the you tube demos and I have to say I really love it. Very transparent and gives me a lot of sustain without damaging the tone any (imho). I've had a couple of times where I had a FM noise issue but after some investigation I've found that it's not the Palmer's fault. What is happening and something to consider is that any, and I mean any, noise in your signal and the Palmer really puts a klieg light on it. So you want to make sure you can live with that or that you eliminate any noise issues.

So the final verdict is that I love my Deepressor and it stays. I hope this helps.

Let me know if you have anymore questions.
