"pan" type right angle connectors...

Is there anything wrong with using them for my pedalboard? Anybody had any reliability issues or experiences?

In case you have no idea what I'm talking about, i want to use these on the ends of my patch leads:

I use those exact ends but pre-made by Hosa Cables and they work great! Actually it allowed me to fit more stud on my board which is win-win!

I use them, I even made my patch cables myself. No problems to report other than the ground connection being REALLY hard to solder on due to the size of the plug.

If you are going to DIY solder them, get a decent, powerful soldering iron.

Cool, I'm sorted with the soldering iron and everything, I've just never used this style of plug before, and was wondering what everyones thoughts were.

What wattage is your iron? I have an 18w iron and it is hard to solder on those, as in, it takes up to 15mins to solder the ground connection on.

I've got a smaller one, about 25W, and free reign on a friends MUCH bigger one, a couple of hundred watts IIRC.
