Pandemic Purchases

I bought a set of flats when I discovered that the "spare parts" of an old fretless where actually a complete bass. Story is quite fun, I replied to an add for a cheap MM pickup and while talking with the seller, he told me that it comes from an old bass (that was converted to fretless) that he was about to trash and offered me the bag with the unscrewed neck, body and some hardware, (that was around 2018). Then just before the lock-down, I had a look at it and realized that nothing was missing except strings.

I had to be a bit creative with the screws on the bridge (they were replaced since then)

And I also completed two other music related projects that were laying around since a few years:

During the shutdown I did more tweaking of my gear.

That included an Allparts nitro neck swap on my custom Cabronita.

I did purchase all the necessary gear to finally assemble a proper home studio practice setup. Not sure why that took so long, could have used it years ago.
