The thing about pandora, is that it's free because it has commercials. they're giving you music in the same genre / area as the music you like, in general. It's an awesome source for new music. Want to listen to one artist's work, buy the box set. Artists deserve to get paid, whether through advertising profits or cd sales. As a musician, I would think this should be old news.

No, really. I feel like I just went and took something from someone. Whereas, if I had to go and manually copy it from a cassette tape or record or have to work out how to get the song off of the radio, I'd be doing actual work and not have to click a few buttons. And then, i'd have to go to actual stores and buy the cassettes to dub them, or invest in a dubbing machine that looks like a walkman and is hooked to a second one that is hidden inside my pockets so I can ask if I could listen to this tape right quick and then say I don't want to buy it and leave with a trollface grin on my face.
Just kidding. I bought all the CD's in my collection or they were bought for me/given as gifts.

Pandora is a "radio". Not albums. Couldn't afford to play single artist all day for free.

Pandora freakin ROCKS. I love it. As others said, it's a great way to get exposed to other bands you might not have heard of before, and I also like that they mix in live versions and remixes of popular studio tracks on occasion.
I liked it a lot better when I could skip songs that a) suck and b) have no reason to be on my playlist. But it's still pretty cool.
I bike/walk/streetcar past a shop that sells media devices that allow you to listen to songs by the same artist sequentially. I call it a record shop. True story.
I was once 10... not so very long ago. I'll admit I fail to watch it as much as I used to but, I still catch episodes when nothing good is on
First, I like the spin doctors. Second, their bassist posts on here and it doesn't seem like very nice thing to say.

You should check out Slacker Radio, similar to Pandora. Slacke plus give you more control over the songs you want to hear. Like you can make custom playlist and mobile station caching. I use both apps.
