Paris is under attack

This is a tragedy. That's all I can say. The current strategies of dealing with terrorists isn't working, and I don't know what can be done. Hate and war breeds endless war and love your neighbor like yourself only works if they feel the same.
This is terrible. I feel for the injured and for the family's of the dead.
But I am upset by all the cute photos and drawings of the Eiffel Tower.
Where were the candlelight vigils and outpouring of sympathy when more than 200 children were killed? Or the people on the Russian plane was blown out of the sky killing all on board? How about the thousands of Christians that have been executed in the past couple years?
The hypocrisy is sickening.
No one wants to do what needs to be done.

I don't think the French are going to take this laying down. Aside from the USA, they are the only other country in the world to operate a modern nuclear powered aircraft carrier. Even Russia does not have anything like this. My bet is it will be now be deployed to the eastern Mediterranean Sea.

According to news on TV it's already deployed to the mediterranean sea heading to the east.

Today there's a conference about Syria's future and possible military interventions going on in town. I think it's safer to stay at home.
No prayers from me. Religion is _a male cows feces_ and praying people cause this(directly - pretty sure the warmongers behind this couldn't care less about any religious figure). I simply feel for the victims and am deeply touched as a human.

Horrible news. Saw it last night. Spinal Tap was on TV and my wife was on her tablet when suddenly she said, "Did you know there was a terrorist attack in Paris?" Found a news channel and was sickened by it. Prayers for the victims, their families, and their city.
^^ Yeah, walked in the door last night from wrapping up a busy work week with that gratified sigh that the weekend is here and the first thing I see is a "PARIS UNDER ATTACK" news banner on the TV. Not very often I stop cold in my tracks one step inside my house. Sat down and started watching coverage. Hardly know what to say (staying within the rules of this site).
All musicians of the world would be sad today ... they attack us at restaurant, café, in concert hall, at football stadium, they hate culture, they hate life. They kill French, but France will live again (not their stupid organisations, they will be blow up in 1 or 2 decades).
Really? At a time like this? Like Christians, Jews, millions of other Muslims, Buddhist, Hindus and Deist were responsible.
