It has been mentioned in other threads here on TBOT but I wanted to start a thread to let anyone who might not know.
My prayers and heart go out to the people of Paris. May their leaders, police and the people of Paris use wisdom to overcome this atrocious attack.

Completely sickened by what is happening in Paris. The Bataclan, where the Eagles of Death Metal were playing, seems to have been the scene of much of the horror. Reports are that much of the band is accounted for, but not their crew.

I can be indifferent to tragic events around the world and I am not proud about that. I want to be more concerned with all of us on this mud ball. For some reason this attack has really affected me. I have hope that all of us in the world no what country our culture we are par of can stand together. Maybe this type of thing will trigger more unity and compassion for each other. I never let go of hope.

Our inability ( or unwillingness) to speak of why this type of horror keeps happening ensures that it will happen again .
The people that do these crimes are serious about it.

I don't think the French are going to take this laying down. Aside from the USA, they are the only other country in the world to operate a modern nuclear powered aircraft carrier. Even Russia does not have anything like this. My bet is it will be now be deployed to the eastern Mediterranean Sea.
