Patching holes in the plastic shell of OHSC ?

I repaired my G&l case with the same damage. The plastic is similar to the LEGO bricks. Original LEGO bricks (not counterfeits) can be melted in acetone, just adapt the quantity with the desired viscosity. I used old black bricks and plates from my old 80’s lego box.
I used fiberglass mat infused with the LEGO “goo” to close the hole and then I added layers of goo (less aceton) with a brush. Let it dry and sand when fully cured
I worked from the inside after having removed the foam padding.

Even cheaper: broken table tennis balls, since the new regulations in ITTF they're all made of ABS, just ask a local club of you can grab them, they'll be happy !

What is your favorite trick for patching holes in the plastic outer shell of a OHSC ?
I've read the threads on fixing cracks and I want to cover holes big enough to expose the inner foam.View attachment 7480057

JB Weld epoxy. Pull the fragments out so they are above the rest of the case. Stuff paper around any voids so the epoxy will stay in the area and not sag much. Using the JB Weld with a mixing nozzel flood the area with the epoxy and push the pieces back into place you can over fill the void so it can be filed back at a later date. (the next day) Once you are satisfied with the result you can use Sharpie brand black paint and color the area; the repair virtually disappears. Attached are pictures of a Saxophone case I repaired about 2 weeks ago. I didn't bother sanding, because I'm concerned about service not looks.
