Paul Jackson

Was listening to "funk and swing grooves" with Mike Clark and Paul Jackson. An old video of two wonderful players and I was struck by Paul Jackson as such a sweet, nice man. He oozes humility.
Of course, Paul has left us but my memory of him will be of a humble, gentle man who could play with tremendous soul and conviction.
Certain people really deserve to be remembered. Paul Jackson is one.

Back in 2005, my band opened up for the Headhunters at a festival, and I got to hang with Paul backstage. Very nice and friendly dude, I was so psyched to hang with one of my biggest influences.
