Payment options for a supporting membership other than paypal?

If you opt for the monthly recurring option, yes. Because that whole system is managed by PayPal Recurring Payments. If you do the $30 annual (which is non-recurring), you should definitely be able to check out without a PP account. :)

That's still PayPal though. I can do it without an account but it's PayPal guest checkout.

IMO, your card is better off processed by PayPal. If you send card details to me, I don't have the security that they do :) Any other online payment processor (Authorize.net, Stripe, etc) is going to have similar security as PayPal, IMHO. So it'd be similar risk no matter what online processor we used.

Xenforo 2.0 offers better support for multiple payment processors, so we'll likely offer Stripe as an alternative when we upgrade. That will be some months though.
