Double Bass PB110 + AI Clarus = pop and no bass.

I assume he/she has tried the Clarus w/ another cab, and the PB cab w/ another amp, swapped out cords, etc. ??
If the problem turns out to be the Clarus, I would contact Acoustic Image by phone or email, and then if necessary send them the unit. Their customer service is outstanding from everything I've read and in my own personal experience.

That's not really enough informaiton.
1. Is it a brand new Clarus?
2. As bolo asks, have the cabinet and amp been tried with other amps and cabinets?
3. What instrument or pickup is being plugged into the Clarus?
4. Which input is he using on the Clarus?
5. Are any other external preamps, effects, etc. being used? Have they been tested into a another amp?

I have a PB110H that I use with a Focus SA. I run the bass through a Fishman Pro Plat EQ Pre first. The speaker (imo) isn't that great. I guess I get a bass sound but it's pretty dull and EB like. My old Flite Sound 1x10 was a better cab. I think it's the cab, not the amp.
