I guys I have a fender pbass and I want to use a pickup cover but I do t want to drill into my bass is there an alternative ? Thanks guys

You could use double-sided foam tape, but it's going to sit around 1/16" off the surface of the instrument.
My opinion is that PROPERLY located and drilled holes on a P don't affect resale, because so many P basses of all vintages have had covers installed and removed.
If the holes are mis-placed or messily drilled, they may detract from value.

Originality is everything in the vintage world. If the holes are not supposed to be there it is not "all original." It will absolutely affect the desirability and therefore the value. The older and more desirable the piece the more pronounced the effect on value. If value is important, don't do it.
