I am getting ready and, going to in the coming weeks. I am going to have a J pickup put up close to the neck of my USA P Bass and a J pickup put in down by the bridge. No weird wiring just a switch so I can run like a Jazz Bass, then run it like a P bass. I don't want to run the P and Jazz pickups together. I know Fender made a bass sort of like that before. For Pickups and to have it done around $400.00 bucks. The guys I will have do it have done work for me before. PhatKat Guitars in Leander Tx. do wonderful work. I like the Idea of this, have all I want without carrying around 2 bass guitars. I don't know when I will do it, but soon I hope. What do you guys think.
