Peavey 410FC cabinet 1980’s

Picked this cabinet up from a music go round store in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It didn’t need a box I live in Las Vegas and they shipped it directly to me since it’s in a flight case very accommodating manager and sales people at that store. I have to say this is a very good sounding cabinet. I’ve been playing for over 40 years and I have owned and played through everything ampeg ever made and I’ve had a few cabinets made by PEAVEY as well. This thing sounds very tight and focused! Also handles a lot of low end but does not have any port. It is basically an infinite baffle cabinet. Think I’m going to use it tomorrow at my house gig on the strip. Does anybody else have experience with these cabinets? I would love to find another one or find out if anyone has ever used them in conjunction with other cabinets. Thanks for looking.

I found the same to be true of the Peavey TVX 410 (probably from the late 90's). Killer cabinet. If it weren't for the weight, mine would go everywhere with me. But at my age, I'm not about to schlepp around a 105-pound cab.

Too bad.

Just for the record, it's a sealed cab, not infinite baffle.

I thought that those FC cabs were 4x12 ??

Those are Scorpion drivers, excellent mids but limited low frequency extension. I actually like them better than the Black Widows.

Well, I also picked up a combo 300 and I’m retiring my back breaking 4 x 10 AMPEG system at my house gig and I gotta tell you this thing sounds super clean and loud.
