Peavey Axcelerator 4 - Find a peavey neck, or make something else work?

I found what I think was a good deal on a loaded axcelerator 4 body, can't wait for it to get here.
I'm obviously finding it difficult to find a factory neck for it.
What do you guys think, try to be patient and keep looking. Or get a neck and make it fit? Either by shaving down the sides of the neck heel if it's a close fit. Or routing the body if the heel is considerably larger than the pocket?
Warmoth has a special right now on Jazz necks, bare maple for 160 plus shipping. I'd lose a fret .

There is a semi local FB listing for a milestone BXP PJ for 200, probably not the same quality as the warmoth, not to mention taking a chance on a used neck. Still would lose a fret, but , it would have a nut and tuners, would at least have the Peavey headstock shape. And I'd have an extra body for... something, I don't know hehe

There is a Milestone BXP 2J pickup on ebay for 120 plus 25 shipping, the obvious gamble of buying online and hoping the neck is good. and Losing a fret. But a lot cheaper than the one on FB and I don't have to drive. Still have to do some shaving or routing

I've got an ibanez EXB 504 neck, I could route the body for that. I wouldn't lose any frets, still have the tuners and nut, but I'd have an Ibanez headstock on a peavey bass, lol. Not sure how much that bothers me lol

Then, as another option , there's a millenium bxp neck on reverb for 125 plus 20 shipping. Figure I could offer him 100 plus shipping and see if he takes it. Has a nut but no tuners, same number of frets as an axcelerator neck, From what I've read, wider than axcelerator neck so it would involve some routing.

What would you guys do?

Guitar center has an old millenium BXP pretty cheap. Just under 200 after tax and shipping. Right number of frets. Figure I could make the neck fit the axcelerator and then make the ibanez neck fit the millenium and then not only have the axcelerator together but have a frankenstein "jazz bass" to mess with

You can buy Peavey necks from Ali-Ex.

There's 2 or 3 outlets deal in guitar factory overstocks, QC fails and partial builds; there's always Peavey stuff

Trick to Ali-Ex is ask questions and for photos, helps if you know somebody who speaks Chinese. "Lost in translation" is the biggest hurdle with buying there 👍
