Peavey Forum V Clip

Making these clips lately has been humbling. I just get tight when the red light is on, that alone doubles my respect for all of the great studio masters. I wonder if age is making me worse. Thirty years ago, when I did a demo with my band, I did not get tight. I guess knowing that it was just audio, and the whole world would not be looking at me made it easier then.
The other good thing about clips is that it is a good reminder of how important good technique like muting is. I think bad muting on the open E might have created the octave effect on the first clip.

Its just repetition. Record yourself as much as possible. Its like public speaking or anything else.
These clips are more evidence that Peavey has made some fantastic gear. The OP's Forum sounds similar to my GV with its Cirrus preamp, but a little warmer.
I bought my Peavey Forum V in Transparent Grape in April 1996. It's a KILLER-sounding bass! I have always been complemented on its tone.
