This guy really needs a reality check! It's in darn nice shape and looks to be from their custom shop (matching headstock); if he wasn't so far gone on price, I would've been interested.

The tuning key is turned parallel to the camera angle, and it's located exactly at the transition point were the case meets the wall, so it does look like it's missing, but it's there.

Guy definitely needs a reality check. That whole rig can be put together for well under $500US.

The average selling price of a TL-5 is around $400. It's not uncommon to find them for less than that. It's a rare day a TL-5 will actually sell for $600. Millenniums are definitely rising in price, but not fast. It's not uncommon to find them in the $300-$350 area. Whereas, for example, you never find Sarzo basses at that price.

You'd asked about validity of my note that standard USA millenium pricing was higher

I posted one in the middle of the night and had 3 requests and PayPal in the morning

Check the classifieds

Not to start a silly forum flame war - but is this enough proof for my position?

Like noted, ugly and 4 strings are in a different price bracket

Discussion does not equal flame war.
I'm not focused on 5-stringers, so I don't follow Millennium 5-string prices closely. I can only comment accurately on 4-string Millennium prices.


Super nice classifieds ad, by the way. Nice work. That should be the template for all seller's ads.

Thanks for understanding

I'm always cautious that folks receive accurate information - grouping 4s with 5s distorts the discussion

In the prior posts there was notations about fringe sales being the norm

Ad - thank you - I work hard at clear photos and a list of facts - it only takes 20 minutes to do a better ad - I've worked to receive feedback
