I'm looking at a USA made, early 90s Peavey Fury - their P-Bass clone and wondered if anyone might comment on their experience with this guitar. It appears to be in great shape. Just wondering if there's anything to be wary of with this model.

Peavey Fury question

Buy it...... neck is thin at the nut. So if you have big hands it might not be as comfortable as a Fender P.
well i have a late 80's early 90's one, with the pointier headstock and triangle shaped string detent or whatever its called. I love it, its got a fast neck, could probabally use some hotter pickups, but mine may just be going bad. almost the same neck as the foundation, really fast. nothing bad to say about it at all. USA made, solid, with some nice pups, it will be just as good as any fender.
I've had a couple of Fury's over the years.
The neck profile is thinner then a regular p bass but I like that.You may not.
Sound wise they sound like a vintage P.The American made models used Alnico magnets in the pickups.To my ears they sounded as good as a standard Fender P.Better then some late 70's Fender P's.
If you can snag it for $225 or under do it.The American Fury's are pretty solid quality wise and if you like the P sound you may be quite pleased.
