does anybody own one of these. I hear they can be a bit heavy but the new ones look cool with the shaped speaker cover.

I'm happy with my little Markbass 150 but it is a bit cumbersome to carry around. what do you guys think.. they are supposed to be effective at ground hum

I do hate me some ground hum

They had them at my local GC but I was in a hurry that day and didn't try them. Love the design. Give it a good cranking at the store to make sure there's no racket. I'm very interested in the Kosmos function button. It's supposed to enhance bass response while going easier on the speaker. This could really help when jamming, especially with a 1x12 combo. It has a "speaker out" speakon jack on the back so my guess is it's 100W without the additional 8 ohm speaker and 150w with it. I would refer to a manual to find out first. If it's unclear then send them an email for specs. I've done that with other manufacturers. There's one review of it here.

I had the previous generation of this. The "200 watt" 112. The downfall of that one was the DDT speaker protection is more like what you'd find in an old hi-fi stereo amp. When it gets triggered by a hard pluck of a string (high dynamics) it cuts the output for about half a second. There's no output compression or processing like you get with more expensive class D amps so this happens pretty easily even at half volume! Once I figured this out I decided it'll never see a stage. These new ones seriously look like they just re-boxed the old electronics and put a different name on the "bass boost" (it mimics tube power amp harmonics quite nicely) If you don't need it to be really loud, you'll probably be happy with it.
