Peavey Millennium BXP question...

I just traded mine for a squier tele.
It had a pretty jazz bass like neck which I didn't like. My main bass is BTB, so I found the neck on peavey a bit to narrow.
I had an active version and didn't really like the balance pot because it wasn't like on my Ibanez, it was more of a switch. You could hear the difference between the full left, full right and center positions. Everything in between full left and center sounded like bridge pickup solo.
However, giving that you are getting a passive version, yoou don't have to worry about that.

Had the active version for a year or so. Pluses were: low price point, slim/jazz neck, light body, long top horn/good balance, fat sounding, looked great. Negatives were, neck eventually twisted, no active/passive switch (no sound when batt's die), twin 9-volts were dang near impossible to change. Word on the street is they fixed the neck issue, and you're getting the passive version, so you should be in good shape.
