For those who didn't see the the other thread, the KOSMOS is two features. The less interesting being some sort of subharmonic generator. The more interesting looking to be some kind of implementation of the Waves Maxxbass technology or similar (Maxxbass was included in the DSP of the IPR's).
That IS interesting because it is a type of DSP that works to make small/compact speakers without much capacity for deep lows sound deep by manipulating the harmonics above those notes.

Yep, but I trust that Bobby will have cherry-picked the good parts of what it offered. To be fair, I never tried it on standalone bass applications, just on the mains bus in a club PA that already made tons of low end.

I tend to put that kind of thing in the "case candy" category.
You'd buy it anyways without it, but its still kinda neat.

Also, from that video, you can see the 'center' frequency and the top frequency for both the semi-parametrics.
Low mid: Center at 400hz, tops out at 800hz
High mid:Center at 1.2khz, tops out at 3.2khz

Yes, and I'd guess the low mid starts at 200 Hz and perhaps 800 Hz for the high mid start. Maybe 50 Hz for the low control center and either 5 or 8 kHz for the high control? 60% of 4 ohm power (600 W) seems a reasonable estimate for an 8 ohm load. fEarful owners should be pleased with that. Hopefully these numbers will soon be confirmed or corrected but this looks like it will be a slammin' head.
