Lined cases are now fetching 70-100.... and unlined are 50-60

Either way... there are multiple revisions to it.. many basses will fit into the case... IF TKL made one of similar quality it would currently be selling in the $400 range.

My first bass; had a RW fretboard. Regret ever selling it - had the best action of any bass I`ve had since. I didn`t care for the pup, though.

I got my Patriot in about 1986. I didn't really like
it for years. It stayed in the case and the foam
melted and ruined the paint on the back side.

I finally figured out that it is just a super performer
in a band. I used it a lot. Later my son used it,

About 4 or 5 months ago, I painted it with ColorShift
paint,

Peavey's use a special tool. Invalid Link Removed

Need the 5/16" wrench.

DO NOT use a socket. Tend to be too thick and crack the fingerboard.

The colorshift is awesome, but that deep blue metallic alone is just stunning. WOW . The green equivalent would be incredible (I'm a fan of greens if it's just the right shade). My Patriot that's on the way is a special order Mahogany like Kenova's, and hasn't really even been touched, so I dare not cover up that beautiful wood. Maybe on the Foundation I resurrected from CL a few weeks ago though...could be just killer...

Depends on where you live. Some music stores carry them. I went to a local store and asked for one. The tech gave me one of the extras they had.

I also made an acceptable substitute.

I paid 100 for mine (then of course more later for paint, pickguard, nut etc). I've got like 400 into it total and it is a real cool bass.

I am from Croatia (Europe) so this basses aren't that cheap, I paid mine something like 300$, U.S.A. Peaveys are rare here.
