Peavey PVH212 or PVH1516 Parallel?

I have a Peavey Mini Max 500 head that runs 4ohms RMS. I was looking at upgrading my cab to either the PVH212 or the PVH1516, but they're both 8ohms. Except... they say parallel on the back? So does that mean I'll be to get the full 500 watts out of my amp?
