Peavey T40

Hi yeah it is quite an find.

Somebody else has decided to bid on it now.

But i know the value in America is worth $500 which is about £250.

The seller has alot of feedback and hes rated 100%.

If i have enough money i might be able to stretch to that.

I have also found a local music shop that advertises the fact that he will fix ebay "bargin guitars". So if it isn't quite as discribed if i get it. I can get it fixed, if i can't do the fixes my self.

I purchased this (complete with original case) a few weeks ago. Today I finally received the "mystery switch" from digi-tek (thanks for the great links, and these switches look just like the originals!) and now it sounds wonderful and is fully functional! (the bridge pickup was not working as the 'mystery switch" was busted).

Now, the color. Simply wonderful! It is slightly transparent and the woodgrain is visible underneath. For being 29 years old and having a few nicks here and there it simply looks fantastic.
Being passive it has the 'hottest' pickups I've ever experienced. I thought my P-Bass sounded 'big'... it has nothing on the T-40!
Can't wait to take it to rehearsal with the band :)

Enjoy the pics!

Love that color ! I bought a T-40 when they first came out, way better quality than Fender at the time. I sold my first one years ago but I always missed it so a few years ago I bought a black and maple :)
