Guys up above ^^^ are correct. You need a patch cable (1' or 2' instrument cable) to run from either LOW OUT or HIGH OUT into the POWER AMP IN on your amp. I have seen guys run simple an instrument cable from HIGH/LOW OUT into a different amp and not use the patch cable on the Peavey, thinking that all was well. But, if you skip the patch cable part on the Peavey, you are still getting full range in that combo - not bi-amped. I dunno if the newer models will even allow that anymore - it's possible that when you plug into HIGH/LOW OUT that it might cut the power at that point, forcing you to use a patch cable. I have also heard (in person - not "read about") good results from using the combo to bi-amp. One guy I knew used the old Combo 300 for lows and a TNT or TKO (don't remember which) on top for highs. Unusual, but it rocked. lol Just don't skip that patch cable on the Peavey. And, experiment with it.
