I've had 4 or 5 peaveys over the years. Some we good, some were ok, one was just terrible (Mace head, but then again it was made for guitar). All were worth the money though, and very reliable. Currently my best sounding amp is a Peavey Windsor. Some people will think I must have no taste lol. I have done some mods to it, but nothing that really changes the tone of the amp, just stuff to allow more bass through the amp. It has been dead reliable and sounds great. I will be using it in the studio soon I like it that much. Funny thing is, I flipped the name plate around so no one knows it's a peavey when I play out because so many people judge peaveys as crap.
