Oh, of course....everybody around here has tried to play my bass. I say try not as a put down but because there are some pretty strange things such as the extra string, the added shoulder humps and the scalloped type channels in the FB under the B & G strings!

Josh, and Fingers...what are you gonna do about fitting the bridge feet to the arching on the top? The old carbon paper trick??
If you're not experienced with shaping bridge feet, you could make a carbon scratching of the arching and Mike could even do that for you.

Like I said, I've decided against his bridge because of the height issue. For the feet, though, I plan to put some sandpaper on the top of the bass and rub the feet on it. I'd use carbon paper for checking if I knew where to get some. How could I use carbon paper to show someone the arching?

I do have a Pecanic Bridge on my bass.

That came out wrong...sorry. I just meant to use it for checking to see if your bridge feet needed any more sanding/scraping.

Apparently not. It's just not something I normally buy. I got some and did the bridge today. Woo. That's a lot of work. I'm waiting for the strings to settle before I assess my work (of which there was definitely a lot).
