Pedal Board Setup

Hey,

First time posting here! Quick question about setting up a pedalboard. Right now, I'm playing an MIA Fender Deluxe P Bass and I have a vintage Morley Wah Boost, Bass Big Muff and an MXR Overdrive Pedal. Should I always have the Wah before the overdrive and fuzz or vice versa? Tone-wise, Cliff Burton would be the main inspiration. I'm not looking to duplicate his tone, but I'm just wondering if there is a preferred way to order the pedals.

Thanks!

I would just try both ways and see what sounds best to your ears. Wah can sound cool at either end IMO. Having the wah first will surely give it a more defined wah sound if thats what your looking for, and is probably the more common placement. but everyone is different!

I have a Guyatone BR2 before my dist. Very obnoxious. I love it but for some reason my BR2 loses some low end. I have used it with an EQ pedal to retain the low end.
I also have an MXR Bass Envelope Filter AFTER my dist. Very fuzzy. I love this as well.
I only use the BR2 with dist. The MXR sounds great with dist or clean.
