I need a pedal with an ANNIHILATE switchChaos Switch, come on, how can you not at least try that
I've made a discovery today that was simultaneously saddening and exciting. The 31 band EQ I had been running through severely dampens my tone. I plugged straight into my amp today and noticed it was louder, clearer, and had the bass's natural tone coming through. Running through EQ, it was like throwing a blanket on everything. Granted, I could boost and tame frequencies, but the tone didn't breathe.
Now I've decided to just go straight to amp, and I've thought about picking up a MXR Bass Preamp to get some more tone shaping options (sweepable mid and different EQ points from amp). Anyone have experience with this? Should I look into some other things? I don't think I need tons of control now that I have the Jag and Rusty, I just want something transparent or adds a little sparkle. If I got the MXR then I could sell my mini spark boost (used as a tone enhancer). I can also throw something nifty into that rack space too if anyone has some suggestions.
And I might end up flipping the One Control and Fireburst for a different OD and Fuzz. Not sure yet. That KMA Minos is looking awfully sweet..

Our house build is a couple of days ahead of schedule, and if things goes as smoothly from this point on, I am actually having some free time this week to build those new pedals that I dont need.

I remember when we first moved to the U.S. for 6 months or so when I was 6 or so, I loved Mr. Rodgers. I thought he was my friend. Good dude.
I found a pedal I have not seen in a while. Forgot I owned it. MXR 10 band eq. I've been thinkin I might try adding an eq at the front of my chain just for the why not factor and BAM! Found that guy.

Ok - well I guess this is a case of good news / bad news.
Good news - Reverb dude accepted the offer of $200 with free shipping for his Count to Five. So I scored that. And that means that @DirtyDuke can have my place on the pre-order list for the new batch (if he wants it)
Bad news - email from CME - my order shipped, was returned to CME because the package was SOAKING WET. None of the three units inside work. The delay was the last they had in stock. SO I am f*cked. 20% or not, all I really wanted was a Moog Delay. And well....TOUGH LUCK...
