For some reason, I want a preamp for my board. Suggestions besides the B7K, go!

Depending on what you are trying to achieve, but my favorites this week are the Broadcast and the Correct Sound custom beta
I will second the Enabler. They might be hard to come by but you can't beat it for a clean preamp, and it even has aux in and a headphone amp. That whole kit has come in very useful at times.

Have you looked into the Acoustic 360 Pre pcbs? moosapotamus.net
Excellent recommendation; the review on his page says its like a more flexible Avalon U5, which is what I got to plug into for the tracks I recorded on a few months ago (link in sig, no effects used though). I nearly went and bought a U5 directly after that session.

I have one and it has the best low midst of any pre amp I have ever tried....... one thing to be aware of, is the switch is on/mute, not one or bypass.

I had Domdec build me one with on/off, so I can use it without a bypass loop.....AND the fuzz is killer......

There are a couple of different Acoustic 360 DIY circuits out there. I don't remember where the second one I have is from. I have a small 360 pcb which I think may just be the fuzz part, and I have a full recreation of the pre/fuzz circuit with detailed instruction manual.

yah i switch between them for different songs i guessed.... the vtdi is my rock tone, the para drive is my vintage jamerson tone... i am still trying to figure out what i will use the tone hammer for most likely i will use together with the AGS circuit though make it a slight overdriven tone. i paired the vtdi together with the rest of the dirt pedals -> fuzzrocious rat tail, fuzzrocious heliotropic, and dg vmt had no time to test the pedalboard though this is like my new revision of the pedalboard that i just did today

The Tone Hammer would make an awesome OD pedal.

Hey, has anyone here tried out a TC Dreamscape before? I know sometimes you can sneak difference TonePrints into various "wrong" pedals, but this is one where they unquestionably allow for you to use chorus, flange, vibe, and other ones with the one pedal. This could be worth looking into for me, kind of Orbital-like in a smaller footprint and cleaner controls on the pedal yet retaining so much tweakability through the editor.
