Pedal Order Recommendation

If you have the following:

Digitech Chorus
MXR Blowtorch
Ashdown Octave
PW Tuner

What order would you put the on your pedalboard, with the Amp plugging in the left and the pedal on the right, going to your bass.

Any recommendations or wisdom is appreciated.

I should add that was starting from your bass, into the tuner and out of the chorus to your amp.

Most people seem to place the tuner first, but I like to place it last because when you mute the signal with it, you also then mute any noise from your other pedals.

The only thing I would consider placing after the tuner would be reverb or delay, in case you wanted those to ring out a little bit after you mute...

I think most place the tuner first in line so that if any effects are left on when trying to tune, they don't mess with the bass signal going into the tuner. I can see how a filter or octave pedal left on could mess with a tuner. Other then that, it shouldn't really matter where in the signal the tuner is placed.

Personally, I stick my tuner first in the chain, and a volume pedal at the end for muting/swells.

If I've got some noise from pedals (and I do from my behringers) I'd rather have it constant than cut in/out when I tune so I put the tuner first. I use a DIY switcher so the first switch also shorts the input to the rest of the chain in addition to putting the bass input into the tuner. The little bit of hiss coming from my pedals is left constant while there's no chance of any stray signal noise adding to the output while I'm tuning.
