PEDAL ORDER WITH SANSAMP BDDI DELUXE

Hey Guys

I've been researching this for a quiet a while now and haven't yet found a good order for my pedals.. I've have added some new pedals in my chain and needed a re-arrangement ..so what is the best way for me to go about without degrading the tone and having more options with sound.

These are my Pedals currently and the order i felt i should use
but please throw in your bits and pieces and help out and i know where im goin wrong

KORG Pitchblack Tuner
MXR Bass Compressor
Boss Bass SYB Synth
EBS Octabass
EHX Bass Big Muff
Into The TECH 21 SANSAMP BDDI Deluxe Input A
From the FX Send and return of the BDDI Deluxe

FX SEND- EHX Super Ego - EBS Unichorus- TC E Flashback Delay- FX RETURN.

Well this is the best way i could think of and i could even experiment with the Effect loop on the Super Ego ...and also planning on a Source Audio Bass Envelope Filter in a months time so where will that go in the chain.

Ok, erm it's hard to discern what question you're actually wanting answered if I'm honest.

I don't see anything "wrong" per se with your pedal order - in fact that is how I would order everything you have before you hit the Sansamp, although I wouldn't run anything in the loop of the BDDI personally, because I would have no need to. If I were to use the BDDI loop I would have the Chorus running into the Delay, as you currently do. The Super Ego is an unknown entity to me - I'd have to work out how I wanted to use it first before I thought about chain placement.

What you've got to ask yourself is how do you want to use your pedals together? Do you want/need anything in either loops available to you? Experiment and see what you like - there is no right or wrong answer.

My advice: do you want anything in the loop of your BDDI - Y/N? do you want anything in the loop of your Super Ego - Y/N? THEN think about your chain order.

sounds like you have the right idea
put time based effects in the loop (chorus, reverb, delay, phaser, flanger, etc.)
everything else put before the sansamp.
I like to use the parallel out to send to the tuner so it can stay on constantly to monitor tuning. If you like to mute your signal then put the tuner very first in the chain.

Thanks for that..However im still trying to figure out a place for the EHX super Ego Pedal...I don know if i should place that in the beginning of my chain for better tracking or use it in the Effects loop of the BDDI. Well it works as Note Freezing thingy with a bit of synth to it..

Also a question about the BDDI's Parallel out, I usually play gigs with the BDDI goin direct to the console and ive been told i can use the parallel out to send a signal to any amp/Cab on stage to be used as a monitor...Well im not sure of it

The parallel output can be sent to another device. It doesn't have any EQ'ing or amp sim or level control so I would recommend sending to an amplifier to give it some signal shaping.

Don't have any experience with the Super Ego, but I would treat it as a reverb/delay/looper and try it in the loop.
You have to ask yourself what kind of sounds do you want to freeze with the ego. In the loop it will freeze the tone shaped tube sim signal from the sansamp. Placing the ego before the sansamp will freeze your clean tone (or whatever effects you have turned on previous to the ego).
