pedal pop sound issue (mxr true bypass)

I have a pedalboard and all my MXR pedals make a pop sound when I turn them OFF.when I turn them ON there is no pop sound.

I have read posts about putting 1M resistors on true bypass pedals input and output to ground to solve the the pop sound....but unfortunately I have not found any video/photo tutorial on YouTube to do it.

my current set up is all powered by Isolated 9v 500ma power distributor :

passive bass > boss tu 3 > mxr octaver deluxe> mxr envelope > mxr compressor > boss rv6 > GK legacy amp.


I have try all possible pedal combination but the pop sound still here.The cables are good. the compressor is not a problem because I leave it always ON but the envelope and octave I would like to fix them.

The pop is around -25 dbfs on Ableton.( when I play the bass is set at -18 dbfs but I still hear the pop).

I have put the compressor before octaver and envelope and now the pop is around -40 dbfs. a lot quieter but still present

IME, sometimes pops are unavoidable in TB circuits. They shouldn't be crazy loud, though.

FWIW I have an old MXR overdrive (now rehoused in a new enclosure, but same original components), which after nearly 15 years went from small pop with the stomp to super loud. Had it replaced with a new switch, and now it's barely noticeable when I step on it. Those parts do have a finite life span; how old (and used) are your pedals? Seems unlikely that all three would have a stomp failure, but maybe one or two have gone.

5 years old pedals but used them very few times. it was mainly my compressor settings that was amplifying the pop sound and I discovered my output jack needed to be replaced. after replacing the output jack I moved the compressor at the beginning of the chain just after the tuner and pop went from -25 to -40 dbfs . now I don't think pop will be heard live in a mix or with a noise gate. My only issue now is the potentiometers of the MXR octaver. I have used some contact cleaner to clean them but still heard some noise then I turn them.... most probably I will need to change them.
