Pedal Problems

Just received a Fuzzrocious Oh See Demon through a trade. Tried it as soon as I got home and can't get anything but a clean signal to come out. Tried a OneSpot and an older Boss adaptor with no success. Did I get screwed over? Any troubleshooting tips?

Also definitely not my cables because the clean signal sounds great by itself.

I'd open it up and make sure a wire didn't come loose in shipment somehow. Maybe take a gut shot and post it. Tripe check to make sure your power supplies and cables are working. Rule everything out before seeking repair...
