Pedal setup

Hello, guys.
I’m starting to play with pedal effects, just to do something different.
I just bought the Darkglass Hyper Luminal and I want to get a reverb, delay and thinking about getting the Harmonic Booster by Darkglass too.

Which delay / reverb would you recommend?

Is it good to have the hyper luminal and the harmonic booster?

Thanks.

It's good to have any and all pedals that work best for you and your purposes. Or no pedals at all. No rules really. It's all about context and what you want to accomplish.

As far as a good delay and reverb, what's your budget? The budget friendly stuff works great. Boss has some really good delays. As does electro harmonix. Does the size matter? If not, maybe the RE202. I REALLY want to get the Meris mercury X and LVX delay. But those are really spendy. Amazing pedals though. There are some great multi's too. Zoom makes some great stuff and it's really affordable. eventide H9 has some great stuff. Strymon is another high end choice. Line 6 DL4..

I personally use a quad cortex and either a helix HX one or stomp for some delays and reverb. Some of my favorites are the Hardwire DL8, boss DD whatever... But the TC flashback would be a great place to start too. Lot's of great stuff out there to choose from. Reverb, I use an EQD afterneath too on one of my boards. I happen to love reverb but never really use it much. That's why I like my quad cortex, I just throw in a delay and reverb together. Really want to try the Walrus SLO and the old blood noise dark star. They sound amazing.

If you can swing the Boss RE-202 you will have an amazing stereo delay & reverb with a preamp section that really sounds nice on its own being saturated. Definitely look it over to see how versatile it is. I love it! (I also own a Pigtronix Constellator BBD analog delay that sounds very good and you can grab one currently for like $99 @ Sweetwater.)
