So I bought a catalinbread Super Charged Overdrive today and when I hooked it up to my amp all I got was a strange buzzing noise. I hooked it up bass to pedal then pedal to amp imput. It did not come with it's own power lead so I used one I found and it seemed to work since the light turned on but I have a hunch that may be the problem unless there is something else I'm missing? Thx in advance.

make sure your bass is going in to the "input" and a cable from the "output" to your amp. I'm assuming "power lead" is a power adapter - you have to be absolutely positive you are using the correct adapter to power your pedal or you will fry it. I really hope you get it figured out and it wasn't fried!!

Damn i tried both inputs so I may have fried it. SH*t, It has a warranty tho.
how do you mean? is there more than one input for the power supply?
mixing up the input - output jacks doesn't kill your pedal, it just makes for a buzzing noise.
the pedal is probably supposed to be fed 9V, so the 10V adaptor you used is not recommended. Can it be used with a battery? Try that, make sure you have input and output jacks sorted, and if it still doesn't work then you'll have to go for the warranty.
