maybseem strange but curious if it would cause damage to amp and or hurt sound. Kinda want opinions before plugging it up. Here's the scenario...
I'm building a pedalboard that could be used for two different applications. Trying to figure the best way to rig it to avoid a lot or any re patching of pedal board cables. I will be using an Mxr ab box, single input with two output, so a splitter essentially. Then each path runs thru different pedals so that one path goes to the bass amp and the other goes to guitar amp... What I'm thinking is for the days I'm playing just my bass rig without the guitar amp, could i simply run my bass path normally into the passive input and the guitar path into the active bass amp input and be safe?
