Pedalboard Manufacturers

I am looking around for a new pedalboard, might have to go custom...so far I am aware of these companies:

Diago
NYC Pedalboards
Trailer Trash
Pedaltrain
Pedal Pad
Flight Case Warehouse UK
T-Rex boards (basically the same as pedaltrain)

At the moment I am leaning towards an NYC board, as they are one of the few that will build a completely custom board, which I will likely need. Trailer Trash would be great, but I would need an ATA case for flights, so that makes them almost prohibitively expensive. Are there any other companies out there I have missed? Any recommendations? Any help would be appreciated, including any UK/Euro options, to save on shipping if possible. Cheers!

I bought T-Rex some time ago - as I had trouble with finding Pedaltrain in Europe - and I sent it back twice. It was very poor quality, frame had already paint chips, foam inside wasn't glued properly etc.

Now I'm waiting for PT-1.

For serious tour-tested ATA pedalboards:

There are lots of similar cases/boards out there, but I can attest to ShowCase's quality & durability first-hand. They supply many of the top touring artists and production companies.

All of their boards are now made from a structural Lexan composite. Stronger & lighter than plywood and doesn't degrade like most plastics. (Lexan windshields are used in trains- it's tough stuff!)

Thanks for that, definitely worth investigating further.

Wow! They look great!!! They're gonna be heavier than the Showcase, but they also have traditional latches which I prefer. The Showcase uses a tension latch (it's definitely tour-proven, I know dozens of guys who have been using them for years without trouble), but I definitely prefer the Bradycase latch.

i got a NYC pedalboard used off the classifieds here at TB. i love it. with the top on, it feels so soilid- you can jump up and down on the top and feel its NOT going to budge. the latches are nice and easy, never have to fight them to get it to close.. i'd never want more from my pedalboard.

I believe a European (possibly British) Boutique Pedal company started making a Pedaltrain style pedalboard but the brand name escapes me at the moment. If I remember correctly it was a black slats on white risers and I believe there was some assembly required.

this comment off the Lyt website cacked me up...

STOP! FORUMS ARE THE WORST PLACE TO MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS ABOUT GEAR! FORUMS ARE FILLED WITH OTHER MANUFACTURERS AND PAID MARKETERS AND SALESMEN WHO PRETEND TO BE "USERS" OR "AVERAGE GUYS" AND THEN GO ON AND SAY NASTY THINGS OR UNTRUE THINGS JUST TO INFLUENCE PEOPLE NOT TO BUY A CERTAIN PRODUCT. THEY USUALLY SAY SOMETHING NICE AT FIRST...BUT THEN THEY SAY SOMETHING BAD. It usually happens out of jealousy or they are just "doing their job". The best place to really find out if a product is good or not is to look at the MAJORITY OF THE GENERAL FEEDBACK ON PLACES LIKE EBAY--OR IN OTHER PLACES--BUT NOT FORUMS--THEY ARE LOADED WITH FAKE PEOPLE WHO ARE SELLING THEIR PRODUCTS! Sure, not everyone will love every product....but you can get a good idea if something is good or not by looking at the majority or things said.

Never heard of them...still $80.00 for a 32 inch board with a second tier seems like a sweet deal...

wow some of the boards....seriously $500.00 for a pedal board....sheesh
