Pedals LIVE

Kenny, as you may know I mostly play oldies, but I'll use a VT for overdrive and a Zoom B2 for things like occasional chorus, phase and envelope, with a nice octave down for big endings. I could easily do all my gigs with no effects, but I seem to have hit a middle age crisis and the effects make me feel not so old ;)

Sorry for the lack of pics but my current live board ( when it gets used) is...

Micro POG>Zoom B2.1u>Danelectro Backtalk

There should be an Ibanez PD7 at the front too but it's died, so need to get a new one.

I also keep an OC2, a TU2 and a Multicomp in my gig bag.

Cheers
Alun

Wish I had thought of that, it would be a lot cheaper

:smug: ... Hey it's a tuff job but somebodys gotta do it!

Dude, I couldn't handle a gal like that even if she came with training wheels!

You obviously have this midlife crisis thing figured out. I'll have to settle for being a grampa:

Not quite a belly dancer, but I dig the kid ;) I dig the wife, too, so I can't complain.

Posted this in another thread, but now I see it should be here as well:
Digitech BP-50 is the pedal I have hooked up at every gig. I've got 8 user settings that I tweaked up. But I don't use it most of the time. I play country, so I need clean un-effected sound most of the time. Once in a while I might kick on a little boost or phase/chorus, but that's just for those special moments. The pedal can do way more than that, modeling and whatnot, but eh... I should fiddle with it more some time.

Also just started using an Ibanez SB7 synthesizer pedal. This is for exactly one moment; when the singer introduces me to the crowd. I kick that bad boy on, and out comes this crazed Claypool-style racket which is totally useless any other time. Jaws drop all over the room, and the band cracks up. Six seconds later, when everyone has been suitably amazed, I turn that crap off and go back to clean, with a satisfied smirk on my face. Mission Accomplished.
