Pedals that are always on?

Does anyone else have a pedal that they will always keep on, (unless doesn't mix with other pedals) If so, what pedal is it, what settings and what sound does it make?

Currently found a nice setting on my ODB-3 which is set; level: 12 o'clock, high mid: 6, low mid at 3, drive at minimum and gain at full. Nice thick sound that goes well with metal.

For the longest time, I always had my Green Stache on b/c I was playing really heavy music.
Then I had my Dark Driving on all of the time when we started tuning to D#. Nice, warm, low gain drive.
Now, my Rat Tail on a lower OD setting is neeeeeever turned off!!! LOVE IT.

In my more doomish/experimental band my Oh See Demon is only off in clean parts. for some extra mud I blend in my BBM with an ls-2. Works great and always cuts!

1: EBS multicomp for subtle compression

2: EBS Microbass II. Mostly on channel B for a little extra drive/signal boost and mid boost. I sometimes stomp on it to swith to channel A for a low/high boost and mid cut, for songs that need a more modern scooped sound or for the rare slap passage.

Weird, they are my only EBS pedals, but also the only ones I have always on...

Yeah, in my original band I actually only have 'set and forget' pedals, except for a few songs where I need something mellower or more dynamic. My Mad Professor FGC is always on with a discrete amount of compression and a bit of boost because that pedal has the best sounding boost I've heard. And then there is my Tonehammer with the AGS on, slight overdrive and a tiny bit of high mid cut, set to unity gain in case I need to lose the drive and regain the mid by turning the unit off. I also have an MXR 10 band eq that I used instead of my amps eq to get the amp as clean as possible and ensure the same signal from the DI to amp and FOH, but unfortunately it has developed some nasty noise issues.:crying: nice pedal, though, very versatile.
