Pedals you sold and repurchased

Back in 07’,08’ or something like that I bought my first Boss ME50B. I had the Guitar version, thought it worked pretty well, decided to try the Bass version. After 6 months, I got frustrated and sold it. Frustration was over a year later and bought another one. A little over a year after getting the second one, I ended up selling ALL of my Bass gear so that the youngest could start College. Wait, I know, don’t even say it as I have said it to myself probably 200 times since then. Bad Idea. Fast forward to like 11’ or 12’. Youngest not only finishes College, but Grad School to boot! Yippee! I have Money again! So guess what, I get to go out and buy all of this stuff OVER again. Discovered that price’s have gone up, what a concept! So before the first Bass hit the door another ME50B was on order. Why? Because I figured for me anyway, it did more things right than it did wrong. So now I am happy again. I add an individual pedal on either side for extra things depending on my crazy mood at the time. After all once in awhile, you just gotta have “More Cowbell”.

I cringe looking at what I sold off a bunch of my old gear for, vs what they sell for now. LOL
I was looking at old photos of the mid 90s, 5 string Rick, EB Sterling, Alembic F1-x, classic 810, endless standups... there's not enough tums to even begin to reminisce about the past... I know better now, that and many years clean :woot:

This only happened to me once! I bought a Behringer Super Fuzz for kicks - $25 ain't much, after all. Then, when I pared down my pedals, I said "I'll never use this!" and sold it for $20.

Shortly thereafter, I bought it again for $25 - where else can you find such an intense fuzz for the money?

Even if it never makes it onto my gigging board, it's still fun!

Prescription electronics Depth charge x4
Malekko B:assmaster x4
Roland jet phaser x3
Digitech/dod multiplay 20/20 x2
Boss es-8 x2

I currently have a es8 and two multiplay 20/20’s.

the only pedal I’ve never sold that I’ve had the longest is the tech21 vtbass from the first run.

Red Witch Zeus Bass Fuzz Suboctave. I loved this pedal right from the get go, and had mine modified to move the internal trimpot fuzz and octave volume controls to the outside. Then I decided I didn't really have any practical use for it and sold it. I soon missed it and bought another stock version, just before my old modded one showed up on the local used market. Rather than buy the old one back, I had the same mod done on the new one. I still don't really have a use for it, but I'm stoked just to have one again. Plus there's another modded version out there somewhere for someone else to enjoy.
