Just added the EH Bass Clone to the list. I didn't understand how to use it properly when I first had it.EHX Bass Big Muff. Fortunately, they are cheap and plentiful used. I currently switched over to a JHS Muffuletta but I'm gonna keep the Big Muff just in case, I know how I am.

FEA opti FET AND DECL
If I get either again I will not sell it again- I have outgrown the habit of viewing good pedals as GAS money- anything good will be kept, and if unused will sit on my shelf
markbass compressore- currently own my third. Will only sell if I get an FEA, and even then it may live in my studio or something
micro POG- owned several, but now I don’t love them like I used to.. the warble just bugs me and the tricks I used to work around it are too much effort
Aguilar octamizer- great fat organic synthy octave
OC2- yet another I won’t get rid of next time I get one. Too cheap to bother selling and far too useful and ubiquitous
Red Panda context- what a great verb/delay, and it’s my absolute favorite for my horn playing
Fairfield Barbershop- same story as the others, and I’m currently on the hunt for one
the moral of my own story here is that I used to always let pedals feel like money in my pocket waiting to be spent- In reselling pedals you always lose a little money, and the vicious cycle of rebuying the same pedals you like 3 times is just silly. Anything I LIKE will stay with me from now on, unless something clearly superior enters my sphere

My one and only so far is a Fairfield Accountant. Sold it about five months ago, tried a few other compressors, and now I have one coming in the mail again today. It's an addictive little bugger.

Got one of the new bass Whammies after trading a Blower Box for it. Ended up giving the Blue wham to a friend of mine to use on his board, I had an extra v4 Whammy laying around. He ended up getting rid of the Blue, and I eventually got rid of my 4. A few pitchshifting pedals later, I remembered how sweet the tracking was on the Blue. Got one on order from Reverb this morning...

Hughes & Kettner Tubeman. I originally got it from our guitar player back around 1994 or something, then sold it couple of years later because I figured a “real” bass OD might be in order. Got another one a while ago and actually gigged with it in 2019. It’s not that I love the tone, I guess in my case, it has a lot to do with nostalgia. It’s not on my pedalboard, but I keep it in the “sometimes/maybe” box.
I was thinking about this today, and actually used the search function (it's rare for me), so:

It's the Mel 9 for me. Have bought and sold two so far. I know some people have luck with tracking and using them, but I can't ever seem to find the sweet spot with it.
I'll probably buy another at some point thinking 'this will be the time'. Unless @rsmith601 and crew ever decide to make something similar with better tracking.

Bought a used EH Bass Micro Synth. Wore it out. Every slider was busted off. Sold for more than 4X what I paid after years of abuse. Finally bought another. It’s total midway freak show. Love it.
