I saw some earlier posts to this thread with some tool boxes used as hard-shell cases for PT Minis. Anyone else have some creative options? I found a Pelican Case that fits my PT Jr like a glove - wish I could find the same for my Mini!

Pedaltrain MINIs United Again!

Might be overkill, but I picked up a DeWalt toolbox seen earlier in this topic: Pedaltrain MINIs United Again!
Holds the mini in the bottom, plus powerstrip and all sorts of other stuff. Was $25 or so at Home Depot. Think it was this one: DEWALT 24 in. Tote with Power Tool Case-DWST24070 - The Home Depot
I just found this case - has anyone tried it?

Just set up the DC5. Sweet, lovely silence again. It's a wee bit thick compared to my PT Nano+, but not unduly. Great purchase.
I've got the DC10 as well – the 5 wasn't out yet – also for a ToneBone.
However, I'm going to get a DC5 and Radial's [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] to knock some weight off the board.
I don't need the buffer, but paired with a DC5 it's still sure to weigh less than the DC10.
I'll keep the DC10 for my home-bass'd giggles board.

What did you mean by this? Is the DC5 not fitting underneath your Nano+?
The feet are raised just a touch given the body of the DC5. The PT was never completely level, but with velcro underneath for the DC5, it now has a small wobble. I need taller rubber bumpers on the PT I think.
No one else has run into this?
Fair enough. The GigRig is centre -ve so if you need centre +ve you'd have to get an adaptor too where's as the stage bug outputs 15 volt centre +ve
I don't have a Nano, I use a Metro 20, so I honestly don't know about the height differences. That said, I've always thought they were the same. My DC5 fits under my Metro 20 with no problems at all.
When the DC5 was first introduced at the Cioks booth at NAMM, I thought they were showing a one underneath a Nano (not a Nano+, as I don't think they were out yet), although, it could have been a PT Mini.
Here's one (DC5 under a Nano) in a for sale ad from @dinoadventures : SOLD - 3Leaf Wonderlove (blue/purple), Pedaltrain Nano, CIOKS DC5 . You could PM him and ask if he had any issues and if so, how he dealt with them.
I live under a rock, and just saw that Pedaltrain are reissuing the Nano/Nano+ boards. I'd really like to have a hard case, because I don't quite trust the bags from pedaltrain. Is a hard case option for the Nano+ from the factory?

You're quite right to not trust the bags, I was at the edge of the stage with my Mini slung over my shoulder when it fell onto the dance-floor, about an 8' drop... 
Luckily my PZ-Pre is tank-like.
PT had already warrantied my first bag, 'cause it split a seam within a couple weeks...
The "new" bag has since split a seam...
I can't see a PT-Pro bag withstanding a fully laden board when the bags for a fully laden Mini don't hold up.
I don't hear a lot of complaints about PT bags, only a few, but that's because they ship all their duds to me.

^^^^THIS... is a beautiful thing!! How do you like the mini Spark boost.. does it have ability to add slight dirt?
