Pedulla Rapture

What's the fair market price for a used, single pup Pedullla Rapture? A local guy has one I am mulling over, one of the few brands I am not up on about how much they go for. I'm assuming much less than the new models.

I have no idea. But i usually go to ebay and see if anything is on there as well as looking at the older Completed Listings that you can check on the LEFT side.. that was i get a good idea of a ballpark on a certain item.
I will say that any Pedulla bass that i have owned or played had THEE BEST TRUED and straight fingerboard over ANY bass that i have EVER played... Along with a perfect fretjob... Even my other fairly expensive sort of boutique style basses dont come close to the perfect Pedulla fingerboards...
Great basses!
SO i say look at Ebay... you will get a good idea there

Pedulla seems like a funny builder to me - I've tried the rapture, the thunderbass and, of course, the MVP/Buzz - and i *love* the MVP/Buzz but don't much like the others. The neck is wonderfully thin on the Pentabuzz... I really want one... I have no money...

But why for are those other models so different? Anyone have any thoughts?

If bass is in good shape? ($1200-$1500 is fair)

I live near Pedulla's shop.
And have owned a Rapture J-2000, PJ-Rapture, and Penta-Buzz fretless.
Mike makes great basses.
His fretless basses are the bomb!!!!

Can you elaborate a bit? I'm not sure I understand exactly what you are asking here.

i think you should be able to get a 4 string SB in the $750-$1000 range depending on condition. i definitely wouldn't pay more than a $1000. It would be worth it, but on the used market you can definitely find much better deals.

MVP abd BUzz are neck-through. Rapture is bolt-on. Thunderbass is neck-thru but Thunderbolt is....bolt-on. That may account for some of the difference.
